Privacy in plain words

Dodong Sibidongsan collects only the information needed to run accounts, community posts, and archive operations. We avoid hidden use and explain what happens to your data.

At a glance

  • One account is shared across Dodong Sibidongsan and Giwon-jeongsa, so the same data covers both sites.
  • Email is used for login, verification, and password recovery.
  • Nickname is shown on community posts and comments.
  • Uploaded images and post content are stored to display the archive and community.
  • You can request correction or deletion at any time.
01

Family-site shared processing

Dodong Sibidongsan and Giwon-jeongsa are run as a family of sites. The same account record, posts, role, and activity history are used for both. Items, purposes, and retention periods listed below apply to both sites together.

02

What we collect

For members we collect email, password hash, nickname, verification status, role, and basic activity records such as posts, comments, reports, and uploaded media. We do not store your plain password.

03

Information from Google sign-in

If you choose Google login, we receive your email address, profile name, and profile image as part of the OAuth response. The image is shown only as your avatar; we do not pull additional Google data.

04

Why we use it

We use this information to let you sign in, protect accounts, display community content, prevent abuse, respond to reports, and preserve the poetry stele archive.

05

Service providers we work with

We use Resend to deliver verification and notification emails, Google for OAuth sign-in, and AWS Lightsail to host the site. These providers process only the minimum information required to perform their service.

06

Children's poetry contest

When a child enters the children's category, the guardian's name and consent record are stored together with the entry. Guardian information is kept only as long as the contest record is active and is removed on request.

07

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while the account is active. Posts, comments, and archive records may remain if they are part of a public record, but personal correction or deletion requests are reviewed carefully.

08

Your choices

You may ask to view, correct, delete, or stop the use of your personal information. If a request affects public archive integrity, we will explain the reason and find the least intrusive option.

Questions, corrections, or takedown requests can go directly to the administrator.
