Pink, small, and punctual,
Aromatic, low,
Covert in April,
Candid in May,
Dear to the moss,
Known by the knoll,
Next to the robin
In every human soul.
Bold little beauty,
Bedecked with thee,
Nature forswears
Antiquity.
Modern rendering
분홍빛, 작고, 어김없는,
향기롭고, 낮은 꽃.
사월에는 숨어 있다가,
오월에는 솔직한 꽃.
이끼에게 사랑받고,
언덕에게 알려진 꽃.
울새 다음으로
모든 인간의 영혼에 가까운 것.
대담한 작은 아름다움아,
너로 단장하고
자연은 오래됨을
저버린다.
